The Traditional Sri Lankan Wife
Hey guys,
Here we are at yet another week’s end. As most of you know, I’m just completing my 1st book, which is titled “The Fairy Dance”, this will hopefully be done by mid-March and I hope to launch it soon after.
I’ve mentioned on the page in this blog I’ve dedicated to the book that I already have an idea for my second book, and this thought, I shall share with you now.
In the Fairy Dance, there is one part that is dedicated to the traditional Sri Lankan wife and what they’re expected to do according to society, our society. Their family values and what they stand for. Now even as I read this particular part of the book, while I was busy editing it, I was convinced that the next book I write has to be on this subject. I’ve already thought of a name and I shall let you know about it as soon as I’m done with the Fairy Dance.
It will be dedicated to the traditional Sri Lankan wife, and I intend to involve some real life stories in this book, stories that will show the evolution of the Sri Lankan woman who plays the role of wife, from then to now. Shall keep you posted but for now enjoy the weekend…
I’ve been told by sources that my DVD man is in the building and I have to catch him before it’s too late. See you on Monday.
till then and then…
