the black lullaby

For those of you who’ve followed the grandmother chronicles in the past, you would know that this is a section dedicated to my darling grandma who’s one fun loving gal who never gets old.

The last time we discussed her she was off to Venice once again to be with my aunt. This weekend she returned to Colombo and as usual, she brought with her a little bit of fun.

If putting salt in her tea and getting into complete strangers’ cars by mistake was not enough, this time she arrives without her luggage. Apparently during one of her transit flights, it had not been transfered into the right port even though my cousin interlinked it all the way to Colombo.

So Nan has to drive all the way back to the airport today to pick the stuff up and she was really upset about it cause she’d brought little bits of things for all of us. But I heard she put up a good fight about it at the airport. He he he.

It’s good to have her back and I’m really looking forward to some wild adventures once again.

Hope the weekend was good to everyone, certainly wasn’t all that awesome with me, I’m just glad to be back at work. Anyways, have a good one ahead of you and don’t forget the Blue Moon on Thursday.
