Welcome to the info page on my second book. After focusing on the issue of Child Sex Tourism with my first novel ‘The Fairy Dance’ in 2007, the controversy keeps rolling in with ‘Living Their Lie’.
Here’s a little info on the book.
Love is always full of surprises but only hate can shock you.
At three points of a twisted love triangle stand an unfaithful husband, an unhappy wife and an uncertain lover, all with one thing in common, their need to be loved. Caught amidst a society that revels in hypocrisy they will learn of how the strong become weak, how friends become enemies, how very fickle the nature of power can be and how far they can go to take what they believe is rightfully theirs.
‘Living Their Lie’ explores the limits of friendship and marriage, the delusions of the past and present, the human weakness of attempting to understand all things and the possibility of romantic love between two people of the same sex.
Here’s some background info on the work that went into this book. As I’ve mentioned on the blog before, this book was written and re-written three times. First under the working title ‘Why God’s Don’t Cry’ and then ‘Lucifer’s Cradle’.
The name of the book is from a statement I once made to a friend: ‘Society claims to know so much of whom we are that now we have no choice but to continue living their lie’.
The launch will take place on the 25th of June at the Barefoot Cafe and all those who want to be there are welcome. This page will be updated with more info on the book in time to come so stay tuned.
Living Their Lie (like The Fairy Dance) is a work of fiction but is based on very real social issues.

Can’t wait. Will be there for sure.
Congrats
I read your novel and pleasantly surprised of your courage to write about those taboo themes like this which was unthinkable in our time I came from Germany for good after being there for almost 30 years and would like to meet you one day personaly if you have some leisure time.
Hey Brandon,
I read Living their lie and just finished it and loved every bit of it.. It was truly awesome.. It spoke write to the heart.. it’s amazing how you understand the depth of complicated emotions and situations that people go through.. I truly admire you..
Amazing story but one little pointer.. You and I both know in writing it’s the little details that makes a big difference.. You have given so much to your writing and at one point it actually made me cry but I wish you avoided the 40 years before part because none of the people use to text those days.. As a modern tale it’s a perfect story but you know creating spaces of 40 years is not an easy task.. but maybe it can be taken as a tale told from the future.. I don’t want to be negative about what I read..
Since it’s a novel I’m going to give you full credit this time for your creativity, imagination and understanding rather than criticizing it..
Love your work Brandon and looking forward to read the next.. And I want you to sign both of my books.. take care and god bless you and your writing
Your biggest fan,
Suli
